I was able to try all 3! I purchased both the Pumpkin Brew and Artisan Apple, and was sent a mini sample of In the Woods and let me tell you what.....I'm blown away. Autumn is my fav season and if I had to narrow down Autumn into a scent, these butters would be it. Period. That cream and lotion from Bath & Body Works is TRASH y'all. It used to always burn my skin and make me break out in rashes. Now I can have yummy scents that actually nourish my sensitive skin. Let me break these scents down though:
Pumpkin Brew - It smells exactly as you would imagine. I smell the sweet pumpkin, Autumn spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, butter, lightly toasted nuts. Here's the thing that impressed me though - it smells like a dessert at first, but once you rub it into your skin, you get this sexy, earthy scent that comes through too like patchouli/sandalwood. It blends PERFECTLY as a high-end fragrance for women, just with a sweet Autumn twist. I don't know how they found the balance, but it's just....WOW.
Artisan Apple - Yes, it smells exactly like apples lol. Like a juicy honeycrisp apple! It smells tart and sweet, with a little spice in the background (very subtle) and a slight floral scent. I can't wait to wear it when I go to the cider mill. It smells delicious!
In the Woods - This one is definitely a unisex scent, but to be honest, if your man put this on, you wouldn't be able to keep ya hands off of him LOL. It smells like freshly chopped wood, pine, bonfires, and fresh mountain air. Very clean and not overpowering at all, especially after you rub it in. This would be a great gift for your man, but ladies will probably be sneaking in it and using it too lol.
